Radio CommunicationIf you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your faction’s radio channel. You may not monitor or transmit on the other factions' channels. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
Restricted Spawn-campingYou and your faction are not allowed to stalk, surround, or fire upon the opposing faction's permanent self-respawn location. Likewise, they're not allowed to camp your permanent self-respawn either. However, self-respawn flags at forward operating bases are vulnerable to attack as described below.
Starting LocationsFEDRA and Fireflies will each start from their respective self-respawn locations. Hunters will start at Tents. Prior to startex, each faction's command element will be given a few minutes to brief their subordinates as they wish.
Forward Operating BaseAfter the operation begins, FEDRA and Fireflies may each establish a forward operating base (FOB) at any location of their choice within the area of operations (AO) that is at least 300 feet away from all self-respawn locations, including their own. To do so, they must place a special "FOB RESPAWN" flag that will serve as a second self-respawn pole for everyone in their faction. However, at any time, enemies may come through and deactivate it by simply taking it down, but it is not allowed to be moved or hidden. There is no limit to the number of times a FOB flag may be put up or taken down. Once a location has been selected and the FOB flag has been planted there, it may not be moved, so that location should be chosen wisely. At startex, each faction's FOB flag will be located at its permanent self-respawn location.
ConquestFEDRA and Fireflies are expected to capture and hold the largest number of control sites for the longest period of time before the operation ends at 15:00. There are five control sites located at Echo Base, MAC Tower, Marsh Base, Prison, & Trailhead and are marked with orange flags on the map.To capture a control site, you must throw your enemy’s flag on the ground and replace it with your own as shown HERE. There’s no limit to the number of times that the flags may be flipped on a control site, but you’re not allowed to steal or hide the flags. In order to begin accruing minutes for your faction on the control site that you just captured, you must also use the Baofeng radio that is located at the control site to notify Omego of the flip. Any delay in radioing the flip will delay the accrual of minutes. Each faction’s minute accrual will be started and stopped on Omego’s smart phone. Hunters may not score minutes for themselves on the control sites, but they are encouraged to take down any raised flag on each site and calling it in as "neutralized" using the attached radio. Everyone with an internet connection may monitor the scoreboard in real time through this URL: https://board.multitimer.net/view/?q=xccr85181o
EllieAt startex, a valuable asset named "Ellie" will be held hostage by Hunters at the Tents. They are not allowed to move Ellie but may set up a perimeter around her. If you are on FEDRA or Fireflies, you may fight your way in to rescue her so that you can bring her within five feet of your faction's planted FOB flag and use Ellie's radio to report that she's been secured there so that she can begin earning double minutes for your faction which is two minutes added to your faction's score for every one minute she's at your FOB. If Ellie is taken away from your FOB by you or your enemy, you must radio that to Omego as well. Likewise, if you remove Ellie from the enemy FOB, please notify Omego immediately. This is a game-control duty, so you are expected to keep Omego updated on changes in Ellie's location even if you are hit.
AirdropsAt approximately 11:30, 12:30, 13:30, and 14:30, one large supply box will be dropped by Game Control at a remote and visibly unoccupied location within the AO. The location of the "airdrop" will be announced on each faction's radio channel and over the field public-address system. All factions are expected to attempt to capture these airdrops. Hunters are not allowed to move airdrops, but they may set up a perimeter around them. If you are on FEDRA or Fireflies, you may fight your way in to retrieve the airdrop so that you can bring it within five feet of your faction's planted FOB flag and use any radio to report that it's been secured there so that it can earn 60 minutes instantly for your faction. As soon as it's delivered to the FOB, it may not be moved or stolen. Game Control will come by to collect it for later use at a future airdrop.
GoalThere are over 400 minutes available to be earned during this game. Between FEDRA and Fireflies, the faction with the most minutes at endex will be declared the winner. Omego will use the following matrix to score the game:
