Full-auto AllowedFull-auto & burst-mode firing are allowed at this event but never within 10 feet of your opponent. Full-auto & burst-mode are prohibited when inside of our buildings; however, you may shoot full-auto & burst-mode out of any window/door at distant enemies as long as you stick at least six inches of your gun’s barrel out of that window/door.
For this event, there are no self-respawn poles. Instead, you may respawn yourself by simply going anywhere outside of the combat zone that is marked in red on the map below and reentering the combat zone anywhere as a live player.
FactionsYour faction will be determined on game day based on your experience/skill level, any local airsoft team or friend group affiliation that you may have, and our need to keep the factions balanced:
Blue Faction
Radio channel: 1 (462.5625 MHz)Starting location: Leroy's Bridge
Purple Faction
Radio channel: 2 (462.5875 MHz)Starting location: Pallet Base
Green Faction
Radio channel: 3 (462.6125 MHz)Starting location: Gully Base
Gold Faction
Radio channel: 4 (462.6375 MHz)Starting location: Prison
Radio CommunicationIf you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your faction’s radio channel. You may monitor the other factions' channels, but do not transmit on them. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
Combat ZoneThe combat zone is displayed in red on the map above. Most of the outer borders of the combat zone are contained within the main trail that runs around the airsoft field. The main trail itself is considered to be outside of the combat zone. Therefore, you may respawn yourself by removing your own red rag as soon as you are on the main trail. Then, you may run along the main trail to select where you’d like to reenter the combat zone so that you can reenter away from enemies. But, once you have reentered the combat zone, you may not exit it as a live player. Therefore, it is against the rules to jump out of the combat zone as a way of evading your enemies.
ObjectivesThe factions will be fighting each other to acquire dog tags by taking them from eliminated opponents and by holding the control site that is located in the center of the combat zone. At endex, the faction with the highest total number of enemy and control-site dog tags will be declared the winner.
Dog TagsEach player will be given a string necklace with several attached paper dog tags that match the color of their faction. During the 3-minute sit time after getting hit, you must tear off one dog tag to give to the first enemy who gets close enough to take one even if it wasn’t the shooter. This is the KILL CONFIRMED. No more than one dog tag is to be given up with each instance of getting hit. You must remain seated for the full 3 minutes regardless of when the dog tag was taken. If no enemy gets to you within those first 3 minutes, you do not need to give up a dog tag even if you’ve decided to wait longer for a friendly player to respawn you in place. Show the enemy the time on your wristwatch as proof that it is beyond 3 minutes. You aren’t allowed to collect dog tags from your own factionmates. The dog tags that you collect should be kept in a safe place such as a zipper pocket so that you won’t lose them. Treason against your own faction is prohibited because that would break this game.
Control SiteNear the center of the combat zone between the School and the Castle is a control site that is marked with an orange flag on the map above. The factions may fight for control of it to earn themselves some extra dog tags. This will encourage the factions to stay focused on the center of the combat zone. The instructions on how to take control of the site are provided below in the “Flip & Radio” section. Omego will track the total time that each faction had its flag up on the control site. In the end, each faction will be awarded one bonus dog tag for every 5 minutes of control time that it accrued.
Flip & RadioTo capture a control site, you must throw your enemy’s flag on the ground and replace it with your own as shown HERE. There’s no limit to the number of times that the flags may be flipped on a control site, but you’re not allowed to steal or hide the flags. In order to begin accruing minutes for your faction on the control site that you just captured, you must also use the Baofeng radio that is located at the control site to notify Omego of the flip. Any delay in radioing the flip will delay the accrual of minutes. Each faction’s minute accrual will be started and stopped on Omego’s smart phone. Everyone with an internet connection may monitor the scoreboard in real time through this URL: https://multitimer.net/board/?q=tevdl5vv1k
