Scav PrivilegesWhen hit, a Scavenger may be respawned after only two minutes (120 seconds) of sitting if a live player makes physical contact with them. Also, when hit, a Scavenger may self-respawn after three minutes (180 seconds) of sitting if another Scav who is alive is simply within 25 feet of them.
Player TypesOn game day, you will be grouped into a squad based on your player type and friend preferences:
Private Military Contractor (PMC)
Recruitment: open to allRole: player characterSquad size: 5 for fewerSelf-respawns: Harris Bridge, Sofa Chair, Zombie Stump
Scavenger (Scav)
Recruitment: closed (invite-only)Role: nonplayer charactersSquad size: 4 to 8Self-respawn: Marsh Base
Radio CommunicationChannel 1 (462.5625 MHz) is reserved for asking questions of game staff and for reporting any real-world emergencies. Channel 2 (462.5875 MHz) is reserved only for Scavengers. If you want your squad to have its own radio channel/frequency for internal communication, you may select your own secret frequency if you know what you're doing and have at least a Technician Class operator license. Otherwise, you may ask Game Control to assign your squad a channel which will come from the following list. Channels 15 through 22 are forbidden because they often cause frequency bleed over.If you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your squad's radio channel. You may not monitor or transmit on the other squads' channels. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
Shared Self-RespawnsPMCs will share the same three self-respawn locations at Harris Bridge, Sofa Chair, and Zombie Stump. Do not attack other PMCs when they happen to be respawning near the same time and at the same self-respawn location as you. Instead, just move away peacefully in separate directions.
No TreasonYou must remain loyal to the faction that you are currently on and not betray them, because any form of treason will break this game. PMC squads are not allowed to form alliances with each other.
MAC Neutral ZoneAt the center of the AO, is the MAC complex which is a neutral zone. Do not shoot your weapons into, out of, or within its fenced-in perimeter. You should not acknowledge any hits that you receive while you are there. Do not obstruct the flow of traffic into or out of the MAC complex.
LootPlayers will loot valuable items found throughout the AO and from other players. The three types are: orb = 1 point, provision = 5 points, and gold bar = 10 points. Alternatively, each PMC squad may use a gold bar to buy a co-op extract from the Scavs as described in the "Co-op Extract" section below.During your 3-minute sit time after getting hit, you must give away these items to the first enemy player who gets close enough to take them even if it wasn’t the shooter. You must remain seated for the full 3 minutes regardless of when the items were looted from you. If no enemy gets to you within those first 3 minutes, you do not need to give up your items even if you've decided to wait longer for a friendly player to respawn you in place.
ExtractThe extraction process allows PMCs to earn points for their squads in exchange for turning in their looted items while being "extracted" from the AO at special locations and times. Extract locations will be randomly chosen and announced over the field's public-address system and on channel 1 according to the following schedule:11:15 Extract 1 location is announced11:30 Extract 1 is closed11:45 Extract 2 location is announced12:00 Extract 2 is closed12:15 Extract 3 location is announced12:30 Extract 3 is closed12:45 Extract 4 location is announced13:00 Extract 4 is closed13:15 Extract 5 location is announced13:30 Extract 5 is closed13:45 Extract 6 location is announced14:00 Extract 6 is closed14:15 Extract 7 location is announced14:30 Extract 7 is closed14:45 Extract 8 location is announced15:00 Extract 8 is closedTo score points, you must be alive (un-hit) and within the walls or marked perimeter of the extraction location at the exact time it closes with your looted items on your person. There will be a moderator present to take your loot and record your squad's points on paper. However, if, for example, you get hit one second before the current extract location closes, you will not extract and will not get to exchange your loot for points at that place/time. You are not required or expected to go to every extract. Successfully extracted PMCs must red-rag and respawn themselves at one of their self-respawn locations.
Co-op ExtractDuring the course of this event, each PMC squad may complete one cooperative extraction with the Scavs. This happens when a PMC pays one gold bar to a Scav and they move together to a location that has been designated by the Scav. Once they are both alive and at that location, the co-op extract occurs instantly with the Scav collecting all of the extracted loot from the PMC and recording points for that PMC's squad.
Jaeger QuestsA nonplayer character called Jaeger resides in the MAC neutral zone. PMCs may approach Jaeger to ask for quests that may earn them extra points if successfully completed.
GoalThe PMC squads are competing against each other, and the one with the most points at endex will be declared the winner!
