In the northern valleys, tensions and heat are rising amid a spike in aid supplies being destroyed and non-governmental organization (NGO) workers being targeted. Increasing pressure from the international community for human rights has stirred the US Coalition into action. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operatives were deployed to uncover where improvised explosive devices (IEDs) are being manufactured to destroy aid supplies and attack convoys. After only a few weeks on the ground, a pair of CIA operatives sent photos back of an IED munitions stockpile, a gathering of armed insurgents, and gruesome images of NGO workers' bodies. It was only hours after the CIA detected that an emergency transponder was activated by their operatives. Fearing the exposure of the operatives and with new intelligence to share, the CIA contacted United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) to deploy an element to recover their agents, destroy the munitions, and capture the IED cell leader. Insurgent forces, now aware of an insider. are preparing for the retaliation of the US Coalition.

Special Hit & Respawn RulesIf you, your gun, anything you’re holding, or anything worn on your body are struck by a BB or a foam sword, you are immediately considered to be hit and out of play. After being hit, you’re expected to loudly call out "Hit, hit, hit!" as you pull out and wave your red rag a couple times before placing it on your head. You want your attacker to know that they hit you so that you’ll no longer be targeted for more hits. Close-range hits don’t require such loud acknowledgements. Stealth-hits are to be acknowledged silently by simply donning the red rag without saying “hit” or anything else. You may not shoot at or attempt to hit anyone else while you’re a hit player. You may not communicate with live players or use radios other than to announce that you’ve been hit, request a medic, get directions, or to reveal how much time you have left before you may be respawned back in. On the other hand, as a hit player, you may speak to other hit players about anything as long as it’s spoken quietly enough to where no live players will overhear the conversation. Any game props that are larger/longer than a basketball must be dropped at your feet when you’re hit, but please keep your own guns and gear with you at all times. For this event, you must possess and use an approved boffer (safe plastic or foam blade replica) in order to perform a knife-kill. Saying "knife-kill" while tapping someone on the shoulder with a finger should not be acknowledged as a hit by the targeted person. After putting on your red rag, you must sit down or kneel and start your required wristwatch timer. Remain down and don't move for three minutes (180 seconds) if you're with the US Coalition or two minutes (120 seconds) if you're with Al-Qaeda. However, if you are in the line of fire, you may crawl just far enough away to get out of it. Additional hits that you receive as a hit player don’t cause your time to reset. During these minutes, you’re absolutely not allowed to stand up or respawn. If it is mutually agreed to, a hit player may allow themselves to be “dragged” somewhere by a live player. This is done by simply maintaining physical contact with the live player and walking or running together. Whenever the live player stops moving, the hit player will need to sit back down. Dragging allows hit players to stay with their squadmates while they are moving hastily toward a distant objective. Dragging also will make it easier for the hip player to get respawned after their minutes of sit time are up. If the hit player gets hit again while being dragged, the live player who’s doing the dragging must stop because they are now hit as well, but it does not affect how much time the originally hit player has left on their minutes. After these minutes have elapsed on your timer, you may choose between waiting for someone to respawn you in your current location or standing up and moving to respawn using a more difficult alternative method described below. Waiting is recommended if live friendly players are nearby and can reach you safely. Moving is recommended if enemies have overrun your location or if your live buddies have moved out of the area. You may wait for as long as you like before choosing to move. But, once you choose to start moving, you may not sit back down to wait for someone to respawn you there. If you chose to wait in place, you must remain seated, and you may shout “medic” to let the people around you know that you’re ready to be respawned back into the game. Any live player may respawn you, but they must come to you first. The respawn is performed by the live player simply pulling the red rag off of the hit player’s head and putting it in the hit player’s hand. If there’s any doubt about whether the hit player’s minutes have elapsed, their wristwatch timer should be looked at.If you chose to stand and move, you may be respawned by an alternative method that is unique to your faction as described below. As a moving hit player, don’t go near enemies or their control sites because you don’t want to be accused of cheating by performing reconnaissance. Also, never enter any structures or fortifications as a moving hit player. Likewise, as a live player, don’t follow your hit enemies around the field in an attempt to prevent them from respawning.
If you're with the US Coalition, once you stand and move you are now "dead" like a "ghost" and must follow your squad at a reasonable distance with your red rag on until you can be respawned back in again by a REDCON withdrawal which involves your Squad Leader (SL) ordering your entire squad to go back to one of your faction's respawn locations (MAC or Harris Bridge) to be respawned as a group. The US Coalition may not use respawn trees during this game.
If you're with Al-Qaeda, once you stand and move, you are now "dead" like a "ghost" and must respawn yourself at your faction's self-respawn location (Alpha Base) or at any respawn tree that is out of the enemy's line of sight. For this event, Al-Qaeda players do not need a live player with them to respawn themselves at a respawn tree. Respawn trees are marked with a band of red & white tape. Their locations are marked with red dots on the map found below with several that can be easily found by walking along the main trail.

Restricted Spawn-campingYou and your faction are not allowed to stalk, surround, or fire upon the opposing faction's safe respawn location. Likewise, they're not allowed to camp your safe respawn either. However, any at-risk respawn location with a forward-operating-base (FOB) flag is vulnerable to attack.

Phase 3 (~12:45)After receiving highly important information, the US Coalition will mobilize to coordinate strike missions and pursue a high-value target (HVT).
