Counter-Strike
FactionsPrior to startex, all players will be divided into two factions (blue vs. gold) of similar size and skill level. Each faction will take turns playing as Terrorists and Counter-Terrorists through two rounds of the following scenario.
Radio CommunicationIf you have a two-way radio, keep it set on your faction’s radio channel:Blue will be on channel 1 (462.5625 MHz).Gold will be on channel 2 (462.5875 MHz).You may monitor the other faction's channels, but do not transmit on it. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
Hit & Respawn RulesWhen you’re hit, immediately go to your respawn:
During this scenario, Terrorists may keep ahold of their C4 bomb props after getting hit.
Bomb ScenarioPrior to startex, the Terrorists will be given four C4 bomb props that have attached radios tuned to the field’s public-address (PA) system. The Terrorists may start the round, together or divided, at their choice of their two respawns located on the northern main trail as shown on the map below. The Terrorists’ objective is to detonate one bomb at each of the four target sites: Bravo Base, Wolves’ Den, the Tents, and Jackal’s Hold. Each bomb is planted by setting it in the target site (red "X") and using the attached radio to announce the location where it has been planted. Then, Omego will announce over the PA system how much time remains left on the 4-minute timer until the bomb detonates. Only one bomb may be actively counting down at a time. Once a bomb has been planted, it may not be moved or reused elsewhere. Once a bomb has been detonated on a target site, no more bombs may be planted there. The Counter-Terrorists will start at their respawn located at the Prison. Their objective is to prevent the Terrorists from planting bombs at the target sites, and they are also tasked with defusing any bombs that have been planted but not yet detonated. Bomb defusal is performed by getting to the bomb prop and using the attached radio to announce that the bomb has been defused. Each round of this scenario has a time limit of 60 minutes and will end earlier if all four bombs are detonated or defused. If a bomb is planted within four minutes of the end of the round, the time limit of the round will be extended until the bomb is either detonated or defused.
Ring of Elysium
Fire TeamsAll players will put themselves into small teams of four or fewer. If you have a group of five, you will need to break up into smaller groups like a team of three and a team of two. Players may choose to play solo, but this may give them a disadvantage because of the hit & heal rules.
No Treason or AlliancesYou must remain loyal to your fire team and not betray them, because any form of treason will break this game. Likewise, your team may not ally itself with any others.
Radio CommunicationEveryone who has a two-way radio should be on Channel 1 (462.5625 MHz) throughout this event in order to receive phase announcements. VOX mode, hot mic-ing, and channel jamming are all prohibited. Please familiarize yourself with your radio and program in its channels before arriving at the field.
Hit & Heal RulesThese rules are very different than what we usually use at Harris Field, so please read carefully. When you get hit, call it; fall to the ground; put on your red rag; and start your timer. While you are in this wounded state, you may not fire your weapon or try to take out any other players. You have only two-minutes (120-seconds) of bleed-out time which means that you must be healed back in by a live unwounded teammate before your two minutes are up. They must have 10 seconds of uninterrupted physical contact with you in order to heal you back in. If you are out of touching range from them, you may crawl to them by using only your arms to pull yourself along the ground, and you may not use your legs to move. Additional hits that you receive while wounded have no effect on your wounded state or your bleed-out time. If you are next to a live unwounded teammate when you get hit, they may immediately start healing you back in with the 10-second hold. Only teammates can heal each other because inter-team alliances are forbidden. There is no limit to the number of times that you may be hit and healed. Contrary to almost all of Harris Field's other rule sets, you are allowed give away enemy positions and talk about anything with any other player while you are wounded. If you are unable to get healed before your two minutes have elapsed, you will be considered dead and out of play for the remainder of the scenario. You may stand up with your red rag on your head and move around like a ghost to spectate, but you must stay out of the line of fire and not communicate anything to any of the players who are still in the game.
SetupYour fire team will be assigned a starting location within the AO that has been randomly selected by Omego's Tiny Decisions app. You must position yourself there prior to startex.
Hunting PhaseDuring this initial phase, you and your team have 20 minutes to wait for the Extraction Phase. You may choose to turtle down and hide, or you may want to play more aggressively by trying to eliminate the other fire teams so that there will be fewer to fight at the extraction zone. You may want to guess where the zone will be and move there stealthily.
Extraction PhaseIf you survive until this end phase, you and what's left of your team will have only 10 minutes to find and get into the exfiltration helicopter (Omego's SUV) before it leaves. The location of the extraction zone will be unknown to all players until it is announced over the radio and the field PA system at the start of this phase. For the first 5 minutes, the doors will be locked, but this will allow time for each team to move toward the helicopter and get into position to attempt to board it. Expect heavy contact around it as all of the survivors converge on it. And, there are only four seats on board, so there probably won't be enough room for all of the survivors. Don't get left behind!
Victory Prestige PinsEach victor who makes it onto the helicopter before the extraction time is up will receive a special pin!
