Dress CodeThis is not a strict reenactment.  Many participants will show up with modern camo/clothing and equipment.  We will provide you with loaner patches/armbands if your appearance doesn’t clearly indicate your faction. If you have anything, please wear clothing that somewhat resembles any of the military uniforms worn during the European theater of World War II.  For an inexpensive WW2 helmet that looks decent, go online. If you’d like to be with the Allies, you are also welcome to wear a civilian partisan outfit such as the French Resistance.  If you’d like to be with the Germans, you are welcome to borrow one of our loaner helmets:
Beach Landing & Push (11:00—13:00)With the scream of air-raid sirens, D-Day will unleash in a furious firefight.  The Germans will be in defensive positions, and the Allies must seize territory with the advantage of receiving more respawn poles that extend deeper inland while the Germans simultaneously lose their respawn poles in 30-minute intervals as shown on the following map:

To capture a control site, you must throw your enemy’s flag on the ground and replace it with your own as shown HERE.  There’s no limit to the number of times that the flags may be flipped on a control site, but you’re not allowed to steal or hide the flags. Each control site will be scored only once with Harris Bridge scored at 11:30, Fort Harris at 12:00, MAC tower at 12:30, and Castle at 13:00.  The faction whose flag is flying on a control site at the time it is scored will earn 300 points.  There are a total of 1,200 points available to be earned through territorial capture.  At startex, the Germans will be in control of all four sites. Also, during this phase, there will be four German intel papers locked in boxes at Swamp Base, Pallet Base, Jackal's Hold, and School.  Just prior to startex, the Allies will be given the codes to unlock these boxes and will earn 100 points for each intel paper they present to Omego at the start of the 1st Pausex.  The Germans will earn 100 points for each intel paper that the Allies don't present.  There are a total of 400 points available to be earned through intel papers. Each faction’s points will be tracked on Omego’s smart phone.  Everyone with an internet connection may monitor the scoreboard in real time through this URL:  https://board.multitimer.net/view/?q=vl2pt2dkbt
1st Pausex (13:00—13:15All combat will be paused for mission briefings with the Allies rallying at Castle and the Germans at Prison.
Prison Liberation (13:15—14:15)The Allies will have until 14:15 to attempt to rescue as many prisoners as possible from Prison.  The prisoners must be alive while moving to Castle, so the Allies should try to establish a safe passage.  Prisoners who are hit before reaching Castle must go all the way back to the designated “PRISONER” respawn pole in Prison prior to making another attempt to escape.  After being rescued at Castle, each prisoner may recover their weapons and return to their original faction as regular combatants for the rest of the operation. The Allies should stealthily reconnoiter the Prison to locate enemy gun emplacements before attempting to liberate the prisoners.  The German respawn pole will be at Zombie Stump during this phase.
2nd Pausex (14:15—14:30All combat will be paused for mission briefings with the Allies rallying at Wolves' Den and the Germans at Zombie Stump.
Der Kriegszug (14:30—15:00)After seizing territory during their initial invasion, the Allies are tasked with holding four control sites at Alpha Base, Gully Base, Tents, and Wolves’ DenHowever, the Germans will launch a brutal counteroffensive to recapture these locations along the route shown below.During this phase, the Allied respawn pole will be at Wolves’ Den.  In contrast, the German respawn pole will move continuously with the Kriegszug as it advances through the war zone.  The Allies are encouraged to defend their flags and possibly slow down the Blitzkrieg, but they’ll ultimately need to return to their stronghold at Wolves’ Den to dig in for the most violent confrontation of the day that will include provided melee weapons!
